The theme of the story of this serial revolves around Divya ( Divya Viswanath). Divya married to Prasanthan (Rajeev Roshan). Prasanthan is Sethulakshmi’s elder son. All the problems started after their marriage. Sethulakshmi tortures Divuya for dowry as she is coming from a poor family without dowry.
Prasanthan is in love with Veni and wanted to marry her. Sethulakshmi agrees for the marriage as Veni is from a rich family. Prasanthan marries to Veni and story progresses with problems in the family between Divya, Veni, Prasanthan and Sethulakshmi.
