Gopika is a popular actress in malayalam film industry. Her real name was Girly Anto. Gopika acted in Tamil,Telugu and Kannada language films. She Started her career as a model. In 2002 Gopika moved to acting for first with the film Pranayamanithooval as the character of Meera in which she opposite to Jayasurya and Vineeth. Gopika is well known for the role of Lathika in the film Autograph and same film Vesham in Malayalam in 2004 which was super hit on box office.
LIFE AND FAMILY
Gopika was born on 26 August in1984 in Thrissur district, kerala. Her father Anto Francis and mother Tessy Anto and she has a sister named Glini. Gopika completed her 12th standard in St. Raphael’s and did her sociology from the Calicut University. Gopika married to Dr. Ajilesh on July 17, 2008. She stopped acting after marriage.
TELEVISION CAREER
Gopika started her acting career with the first film Pranayamanithooval, as the character role of Meera opposite to Jayasurya and Vineeth, directed by Thulasi Das. With this she got identification in Film industry. Gopika second film 4 the people in Malayalam as Divya acted opposite to Tamil actor Bharath which was a blockbuster directed by Jayaraj. “Lejjavathiye Ninde Kalla Kadaikkannil” song was very big hit in Kerala. The film Autograph was another big hit in the year 2004 directed by Cheran. Among these she acted in Kannada film Kanasina Loka which was remake of Telugu film Azhagi and acted in Telugu films like Leta Manasulu, directed by Raju Upati.
