Story of Bhaskar the Rascal is revolving around Bhaskar(Mammootty) and his son(Sanoop Santhosh). Bhaskar is a widower. Bhaskar completed his studies abroad and does a banking business in native. He is short tempered and reacts to anything and everything easily. That given him a title rascal. Bhaskar is very unhappy that he is called rascal.
Once Bhaskar and son go for a trip. He meet Hima (Nayanthara), who is very close to his son. Hima is a calm and quite person. The events that follow plots the story of ‘Bhaskar the Rascal’.
